Cold heading: At room temperature, a high pressure is applied to the metal blank through the mold, causing it to produce plastic deformation and filling the mold cavity, directly forming into the desired geometry (such as a sphere).
Material requirements: metal materials with good plastic denaturability (such as rivet steel, bearing steel) should be selected, and the tensile strength usually does not exceed 800MPa.
Efficient and continuous production: automatic feeding of coil or straight bar material, integrated cutting, pre-upsetting, fine upsetting and other processes to achieve the whole process automation.
